TEACHING CREATIVITY

JHU_Thank You_Nicolas Drayton.jpg

CCT uses teaching techniques to help your team experience ways to generate novel and interesting ideas, and to develop them into powerful solutions.

Groups are always amazed by the end of our sessions, at the ways in which their combined thoughts and ideas can yield a higher calibre of solutions for their challenges and goals.

CCT recognizes the need for creativity to be introduced to our youths to help to prepare them for their futures

There are no textbooks nor manuals that teachers can turn to, to assist and equip their students for this rapidly changing world.

Children are naturally creative, but we need to teach them how to harness and develop their inner creativity. This helps them to become highly competent and resourceful adults.

One of CCT's passions is introducing elementary school students and teachers alike to the transformative experience of discovering their inner creativity.

SUMMER BOOST

Summer Boost was developed at the University of the Virgin Islands as a program to teach a range of life-skills from Mindset, to Entrepreneurship, to Creative Thinking and Creative Problem Solving.

The goal of the Creative Thinking component of Summer Boost is to expand students’ thinking skills by teaching them a diverse set of Creative Thinking / Creative Problem Solving and decision-making tools.

The program has documented success in bringing about positive changes in performance and retention of participating students.

CCT's Director, Nick Drayton, designed and effectively taught the Creativity component of Summer Boost since its inception six years ago. There are few things as rewarding as being part of a successful initiative that solves a challenge.
